January 1-3
        - New Year¡¯s Day public holidays.
January 17
        - 4th quarter payment is due if you choose to pay 2010 estimated income tax quarterly.
January 17-21
        - 2011 tax season kicks off. Initial email asking for 2010 tax return preparation authorization
January 31
        - W-2 forms and other compensation statement are due from employers. Forms 1099 are due           from payers of interest, dividends and other specified types of income.

February
February 2-8
        - Chinese New Year public holidays.
February 14-18
        - Email asking for 2010 tax information required.

March
March 7-11
        - Email following up on 2010 tax information.
March 31
        - Tax information is due for clients who need to make 2010 extension payment or to file 2010            tax return by April 18th.

April
April 3-5
        - Qing Ming public holidays.
April 6-12
        - Email reminder on filing of 2010 tax return or filing extension with payment by April 18th.
April 18
         - Original due date to file 2010 income tax return. (Automatic extensions applied and see next).
         - 2-month automatic extension is granted to taxpayers living outside of the U.S. or Puerto Rico.           Some states do not accept federal extension or grant 2-month automatic extension, Please           check with your state or contact us if you need to file a state extension by April 18th.
        -
Filing Form 4868 and make payment by April 18th to minimize interest and penalties or if           you do not qualify for a 2-month automatic extension.
          - 1 st quarter payment is due if you choose to pay 2011 estimated income tax quarterly..       
        - Contribution to an IRA (Individual Retirement Account) is due. Maximum contribution is $5,000           ($6,000 if you are age 50 and over). Maximum contribution and deductible contribution may be           reduced depending upon your modified adjusted gross income.
April 30
        - International Labor Day public holidays.

May
May 1-2
        - International Labor Day public holidays.
May 3-6
        - Email following up on 2010 tax information.
May 31
        - Tax information is due for clients who need to make 2010 extension payment or file 2010 tax           return by June 15th.
June
June 4 - 6
        
- Dragon Boat Festival public holidays.
June 7-10
        - Email reminder on filing timely or filing extension form 4868 by June 15th
        - Asking authorization to file extension on your behalf
        - Email reminder on filing FBAR (Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts)
June 15
        - Tax return is due for US taxpayers living and working outside the US and Puerto Rico.
        - Filing extension Form 4868 to extend the filing due date until Oct 15th if additional time is           required. 1040 office will file the extension on your behalf if you have authorized us to do so.
        - 2nd quarter payment is due if you choose to pay 2011 estimated income tax quarterly.       
June 30
        - Filing FBAR (Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts) is due.
July
July 4-8
        - Email following up on 2010 US income tax return filing
August
August 1-5
        - Email following up on 2010 US income tax return filing
September
September 5-9
        - Email following up on 2010 US income tax return filing
September 10-12
        - The Moon Festival public holidays.
September 15

        - 3rd quarter payment is due if you choose to pay 2011 estimated income tax quarterly.  
September 30
        - Tax information is due for clients who need to make file 2010 tax return by October 15th. 
October
October 1-7
        - National Day public holidays.
October 17
        - Tax return is due if extension form 4868 has been filed.
        - Applying for additional time to file tax return until Dec 15th by writing a letter to the IRS if you           have any special reasons for filing late.

November-December
        - Back filing of delinquent tax returns and tax consulting
